Hi my name is Sam Paulson and I'm the owner of decent. barber co. I have been cutting hair since 2011 and I opened decent. in January of 2021. 

After working in busy barbershops for almost a decade, I started to yearn for an environment where I could spend more one on one time with each client and give them the absolute best experience I could offer. My goal with decent. is to make you feel comfortable and relaxed while we can spend time going over the details that matter with your haircut. I always start with a consultation to ensure we are both on the same page. This allows me to give each client an individualized service, and allows me to achieve the end goal for your hairstyle. I will never make you feel rushed, and I always try to make sure you're completely satisfied and feeling confident with your hair and style. 

At decent. you can always expect to find a clean space,  a candle burning, something on the tv, lo-fi beats on the speakers, and a cold beer in the fridge. I hope to see you here soon.

When I'm not cutting hair I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter. I also enjoy running, collecting sneakers, watching the Dodgers, and listening to 90s hip hop.
